Had rain much of the way from Springfield to Topeka this morning, but it cleared up really nicely and it was 78 and sunny the whole time we were at Heartland Park dragstrip. Wanted to take the Nova down, but they stopped the racing shortly after we got there, bummer.
Got a picture from Kenny Wayne Shepard today. He's riding along in a sweet Mopar; watch for it on the video later. Rich Christiansen was there from Pinks signing autographs. Did I mention that Linda Vaughn (Miss Hurst Shifter) was in the GM Performance booth the past two days? Looks like she went home today.
Right now there's a bunch of people sitting along the major roadway outside the hotel with a sign that says "smoke em if you got em" Dave's filming, but there's not too much to see - yet.
Off to Lincoln, NE tomorrow, hoping the dry weather holds out for us.
