The Woraksan National Park (월악산 국립공원) is located in Chungcheongbuk-do county in Korea and is famous of its picturesque mountains, forests and waterfalls. Today I've joined a bus of "hard-core" Korean hikers to explore the 772m high Bukbawi mountain (북바위산). The excursion fee paid (25.000 KRW, tour leaving from Euljiro4ga at 07:40 a.m.) included plenty of services: kimbap and a bottle of water to start with, then loads of delicious home made food was distributed: kimchi, fish, rice, dried squid, fruit, plenty of maccolli and soju for everyone... The price also included the travel costs, professional guides in the group and an awesome atmosphere while hiking-eating-relaxing all day! The coolest thing was when finishing our hike and hitting the road back to the bus we've stopped at a mountain spring to soak our feet in the cold water, than went in till mid-thigh for some splash and finally ended up having a swim in the small natural pool in full hiking gear! :-)) It was not a bad idea to take clothes to change with me!
