From Session Road, we let our feet take us to one of Baguio's most frequented family picnic spots, Burnham Park. Situated in the heart of the city, it boasts of sprawling grounds where hikers, bikers, skaters and other sports enthusiasts can do their thing from sunrise to sunset.

There's a man-made lagoon there where you can row a boat, a skating rink for gliding to your heart's content, several rose gardens ideal for snapshots, walkways for loafing, a football field for outdoor activities, and numerous stalls offering a variety of goodies and treats.

I'm glad we ditched our previous plan of going to Wright Park in favor of Burnham. Believe me, the latter's a far greater place for bumming around to your heart's content.
