The "Gorman" family joined us for the remainder of our time in Hawaii. It is part of a family tradition that now spans18 years to meet in Hawaii. More specifically it is tradition to meet at the Sheraton on Kannapali Beach in Maui. It was great to see all of the family.
With Kiana's birthday being on the 21st we had an additional celebration for her once everyone arrived. That was then followed up by Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. After that string of events Kiana expected to receive a new present everyday.
The typical day in Hawaii was balanced between the pool, the beach, sharing appetizers with family and playing with the kids.
On Christmas Eve we decided to sing Christmas carols in one of the rooms. After the power went out in the hotel we took our Carol signing outside and went in front of Grandma and Grandpa’s hotel room.
Charis was able to get in a Scuba Dive and Arik had a few opportunities to catch some waves.
One night we even caught a Romantic Sunset Dinner Sailing Cruise. While Grandma, Grandpa and Auntie Steph babysat the kids. On the boat trip we saw a pod of 300 Spinner Dolphins and a handful of Humback Whales.
It was an amazing vacation!
