This week is the last week of school, and slowly people have been packing up their things and have started to continue on their journey through life...some people have gone home and some have made it to their next destination of travels. Today as I said goodbye, not goodbye just until next time, to three of my friends that I have made while here, it hit me that I don't know when I'll see them again. A strong feeling of sadness came over me and I can't shake it off. The past four months of my life have been a roller coaster ride, and the people I have met while here have been on that ride with me. No matter where we all are in the world, I know that we will have one MAJOR thing in common: we lived in and experienced Thailand together. I have reminisced on some of the greatest memories I have had in Thailand and these people will always be a part of it. I love them all.. EVERY single one of them. We have a bond that cannot be broken. And when I feel lonely or when I miss Thailand, I know I can pick up the phone and call one of them and talk for hours about our experiences while being here and it will never get old. These people have inspired me to continue to travel the world, they also inspired me to do something more with my life, something meaningful. From my Finnish friends, to my Dutch, Chinese, Thai, and American friends I have to thank you for giving me some of the BEST times in my life, I am so thankful to have met all of you and I will NEVER forget you. I cannot wait until I go to Finland and know FOR SURE that I have a bunch of crazy Finnish boys to show me around their country, because I WILL be visiting.
As for you Rangsit, Pathum Thani....I'm going to miss you the most. This little quaint town of MorRangsit has a special place in my heart. Yellowspoon, Green Wall, Kafela, and the night market wow I don't know what I'm going to do when I can't just get up off my ass in my apartment and walk 5 minutes to eat some of the best dollar meals I have ever had or buy a really cute dress for the night for only 5 dollars. I am truly spoiled here, and the best part is that I know 15 years from now this place will be exactly the same, NOTHING will have changed and I will feel right back at home again. This is by far the BEST place in the world, God bless Pathum Thani!!
More things I will miss:
7/11 on every corner(makes me feels safe)
SNIFFIES!
Ham and Cheese sandwiches from 7/11(the bomb)
Cookies N Cream Ice Cream from Kimberries(2 scoops for 50 cents)
Delivered pizza from Toasties(best pizza I've ever had)
Roties from the rotie stand guy(Banana Pancakes with sugar on top)
Motorbike taxi's that take me to school when I'm too lazy to walk
Stray dogs everywhere
Bangkok Traffic(unlike anything I've ever seen)
Pineapple stands
Tom Ka Gai(Coconut milk with chicken-my favorite Thai dish)
Thai people thinking I'm Thai and speaking 100 miles a minute to me in Thai
The swimming pool on campus
Pre-gaming in front of Penthip(our apartments)
Getting 5 dollar massages on the regular
Seeing internet shops filled with Asian gamers at 5 in the morning
Coming to class 15 minutes late knowing the teacher isn't there yet
Speaking Thai(it's fun)
Taxi cab rides
Muay Thai Class
Thai Cooking class
The King- Long Live the King!
and SO MUCH MORE.
The ONE thing I will NOT miss:
MOSQUITOES! I want them banished from the Earth.
Although I am ready to further my journey throughout Southeast Asia, I am very sad to leave this wonderful place called Pathum Thani. It has served as my humble home for the past four months and I will definitely leave my heart here. My home is in the Unites States, but my heart is here in Thailand.

Comments
Take me there one day. Please
Hi Ariana.
I was looking for info on Rangsit, since I'm going to take a semester abroad on Rangsit from august, and then I ran into this blog... After reading it, I just wanted to leave a comment to say thank you for the wonderful experience of reading about your semester abroad... - Until now I have been so exited to go.. but WOW!! - Now I definitely CAN'T WAIT!
I hope you have fallen in to your rhythm at home again, and is happy about it - maybe preparing going back again some time!?
Thank you again!
Kind regards, Katrine
(And if you have some great tips about where to travel, things to see, names of nice bungalows etc. I would love if you could find the time to send them to me on katrine@doek.dk)
