For lunch we drove along the coast to Cintsa, to
Crawfords Beach Lodge, which Jean had thought of having a house there, so she knows it well. Its a lovely sandy beach stretching for a long way
into the distance. Lunch was most enjoyable.
Came back to Gonubie and walked along the boardwalk,
then into the sea, which slopes very gently, so you
can go quite a way out. However, on the way back the sun was
in my eyes so I didn't see the dip, and went in a lot deeper than I wanted!
Got back to the house to find that the dogs had missed us,
and the one had taken it out on the Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise). Luckily I managed to get some pictures of flowers she hadn't managed to reach.
Spent the morning at Jean's house. Its amazing just how well some of the plants grow in that climate, such as the
