Had a good days travelling today, nice to know we are back as pigeons.

Started a bit late as we needed to unpack the main oil stores to ensure we had the ready
supply of oil full. We keep some in a bottle under the bonnet, but it had all been used
so we had to get to the supply from under the floor boards. That meant unpacking
everything from the car, and then repacking. As we all know, it doesnt all go back where
it came from!
Had breakfast and then started off. As I said we had a good day and drove throught the mountains south of Switzerland, through the Mont Blanc tunnel (E35 toll charge!!!) and into Italy. Beautiful scenery, but then from the USA blog you know I love mountains!
And so down into Italy, past Milan and on to Parma where we spent the night.

Not an exciting day, especially for you to read about, but we need to get the miles done to get to the part of the journey that will be challenging and very different.

Motorways are largely the same the world over, arent they!

350 miles, Av speed 41.4 Max speed 60.6 mph
