Collected the car this Morning. Its my turn to push up the speedo. Drove along the by-pass to the M1, then turned around and drove back to the A1. Back to the M1 and so on. 102 miles later I dropped the car back to Martin. Sounds boring? Maybe, but we need to push the mileage up before its first service, and at least there isnt too much traffic, and being dual carriageway, the faster vehicles can pass. Much better day than Tuesday, I guess partly because there was far less gear changing as I was on a straight road! But the car has a character now, and its much more easy going than when I first got into it.
