We spent a whole day in Xcaret and kind of regretted it. We went on a tour there of an Eco Archaeological Theme Park that was highly crowded and filled with children. We were on our feet all day in flip flops on rocky terrain with no places to really sit and rest. The food was insanely expensive unless you wanted the cafetria food, which we ended up eating and was not very satisfying. This might have been a fun 3 hour excersion, but for an 8 hour day, it's a bit much.

The dysentery hit us right the middle of all of it, too, which didn't help matters.
