The next morning we woke up early and went to the French-Roman city of Arles where we saw ancient Roman ruins and a coliseum/amphitheater. We ate lunch at a McDonald's there, too; oddly enough. I ordered the Royal avec Fromage or "Royal Cheese"; otherwise known to us Americans as "the quarter-pounder". It was actually VERY good...despite the rumors of the French using horse meat for their patties. One taste of those babies and you wouldn't care.
