We sailed to Patmos from Lipsi - a larger and religiously endowed island with monastaries and ancient caves. For a couple of days we tied up at the town wharf, not many yachts but cruise boats with the hoards looking at the Chora on the hill.  Next we sailed back across to a gorgeous little Arki Islands (70 people) just north of Lipsi. Moored at the end of a very narrow dogleg in shallow water amongst 10 locals and three tavernas - Edward fell in.   All very special.  From there we came north to Fournoi Islands, again islands not connected to tourism and very authentic.   Lots of fishermen with their dinky, brightly coloured boats.  First night in a remote bay was anchor watch all night but have moved in closer to a dear little bay with a mooring.   We are waiting for the strong winds to drop to get thru to Mykonos where its presently blowing 30 knots.  Edward has just untangled the mooring line from around the keel - we have been circling.   We have spent the days walking a millions steps to bring this news to you, reading books, swimming, playing canasta with the odd beer.

Hi - I hope that the wind starts to die a little for you soon. I remember how stressful those nights were when it blew hard all night!

So it looks like you are now further north than you have been before? are you going to Kusadasi - Ephesus is amazing to see - but I guess that since it is in Turkey you would have the Crusing permit problem?

Has the prop noise gone now?
