Chicago has lived up to it's name, as the Windy City, we woke to a wet and windy day, and it stayed that way for most of the day. We were being hopeful and decided to head out without raincoats, or thick jumpers.
First stop Navy Pier, which is just like Santa Monica pier, but indoors. We spent a fair amount of time wandering around hoping the wind would subside - no luck, so we braved the elements an headed across town for some traditional Chicago food - the hotdog!

These were the most amazing hotdogs we had ever eaten, with pickles, peppers and green jellied onions, you wouldn't have thought that something that looked so messy could be so good.

We made our way back out into the rain to the John Hancock building for martini's on the 95th floor, and to enjoy a birds eye view of the city. Funnily enough the best views were from the ladies bathroom, of course Antony didn't get to see this view!

After getting ourselves better prepared with raincoats, we headed To South Loop for the evening for one more Chicago delicacy, the deep pan pizza. The pizza is more a pie, buttery pastry filled with cheese, tomatoes and sausage, tasty but not healthy.
