So looks like we might have missed out on baseball. After my failure to get timezones correct with the Blue Jays in Toronto, we tried to see the Mets at home against the Phillies today. But with Toby in a bad mood, we were too late to get to the start, and too late to buy tickets online.

So third try was the Brooklyn Cyclones, the local Minor League team, playing at Coney Island in a playoff game, at 5pm. Ideal. So we headed in to Manhattan to see Times Square quickly before heading out. But then the heavens opened up, so had to abandon hopes of getting to that ballgame. To make matters worse, we were denied entry to a Broadway show because of Toby.

So almost at the end of our NY stay, time for one last visit to a Brooklyn bar, then off for a Philly cheesesteaks tomorrow!

Would definitely recommend staying in Park Slopes, but five nights is far too short in New York.
