We've spent a big part of Friday and shorter times on Saturday and Sunday at Yonsei University and will continue to spent time this week. It is our home base and the location for most of our lectures. It was established in 1885 as a teaching hospital and has gone through numerous formations and names. It became named Yenisei in 1917 and Korea’s first modern university. Yonsei U. is a private Catholic University. Between its two campus, graduate and undergraduate schools, and professional schools, Yonsei Universities’ enrollment is a little under 50,000. It is considered the 3rd largest university in Korea and one of the top prestigious universities in Korea. Its grounds are massive and stretch up into the mountains. It has a Law School and a Medical School as well as other colleges. It has 8 libraries. See some of the photos below.
