The past few weeks have just floooown by! 2 weeks ago I went to Granada and Cordoba with the EAP program for a weekend (thats in the south of spain). It was goorgeous down there, all the white houses and beautiful landscape. Also the Alhambra in Granada was just amazing, im soo glad i got to see it. But after visiting those two cities, I am still glad i chose to study in Madrid, I just love how lively it is and there are always people around and always just very energetic. School has been fine, although im on campus from 10am till 7pm almost every day which is quite a lot of time, so during the week I never have much time to do anything since im gone all day and at night all i do is eat and do homework and try to get to sleep early (although my sleep schedule is so screwed up here). I cant even explain how different it is here in Madrid than in Lund (sweden). I am soo busy and always doing something or meeting someone, I barely have any time just to relax and do nothing, which is like the opposite of last semester. Ive also made a few spanish guy friends who i see everyday at school and go out with on the weekends who are really fun. It is interesting though to see the cultural differences between boys in spain and boys in the US. The boys here are so direct and dont have as many social rules as we do in the states,  my friends and i are trying hard to get use to it and even appreciate it.
As for my traveling agenda I decided for Spring break I am going to Paris for the first half with 6 friends and then going to Rome for the second half with 4 of them. Im so excited for this, although I think ill need to start a diet that week so i dont become broke/obese lol. And alllso im going to GREEECE woohoo! For 2 weeks after my program ends me and 2 friends from here will be island hopping in greece. I seriously cannot explain my excitment for those 2 weeks, yeay. If anyone is free may 17-31 and wants to join, feel free :) haha. Anyways....
This weekend was fun, i went to my spanish friends apartment and had dinner and played poker with his and my friends and then ended up back in the center of madrid until about 6am when i took the metro home. Then saturday i went to the Prado (big art museum) with a friend and saw some amazing paintings, although i will need to go back about 10 times to see evrything i want to see. And then i met up with hayley rose (for those u that know her) and we went to a bar and then a dancing club, which was really fun, but again i ended up back at home around 630am. And this morning i tried to go to the big flea market but once i got there i decided it just wasnt gonna happen and went home to nap and do homework. Needless to say I am going to limit my 6am-ers to once a week so that i dont waste my weekends. Its crazy how alive/different night life is here from the US or Sweden, all the clubs close at 6 and at that time all the clubs are still paaacked! So now im looking forward to just relaxing today (my one day of rest- sunday) and maybe doing some reading :)
