This is the start of our Adventure to the Grand Canyon! Since flying into Flagstaff, AZ is really expensive we've decided to fly into Phoenix and rent a car to drive to Flagstaff. I suggest you do the same if you are looking to explore the Grand Canyon on a budget.
Arizona really is a beautiful place, even from plane view the terrains are amazing. The air is a little dry and there are lots of cacti around but it's a great place to cruise around in a convertible. Stop and smell the fresh air but be prepared to sweat... it's just that hot. So hot that I ended up getting a bloody nose from the dry air. But it's worth it, as you will see tomorrow when I venture into Flagstaff.
