I'm sure Miami is very well know for their nightlife but during the day there really is nothing better to do than relax by the beach or just hang out by the pool. Like South Carolina, the south really is all about the beaches and the sun. Watching the sunset, reading a book and just swimming in the pool.

But of course, knowing me, something always has to happen. So one day, my brother and I decide to hang out by the pool. There weren't a lot of people there because we traveled to Miami during winter season. Anyway, when it was time to go back to our room to get ready for dinner, turns out that our keys didn't work. Somehow both his keys and my keys got demagnetized. Good thing we were on the first floor; so getting to the front desk in my towel and bathing suite wasn't too bad. Oh little did I know. I had to wait an hour for 3 people to fix the door and let us back into the room. Cold, shivering and talking to what seemed like a bird in a hotel, I soon did not care at all the passerbys staring at me in a towel. I had the hotel bird and that's all that mattered.

We did manage to get to our dinner on time and I managed to try alligator and frog meat! Frog meat really does
taste like chicken but I wasn't too fond of alligator meat. It was too
tough and chewy. I felt like I was chewing on a rubber tire. But hey, at
least I can say I had alligator meat! Never again though.

I think I managed to embarrass my brother on this trip because every palm tree I saw, I just wanted to take a picture with it. My brother and I had enough of the sun and decided to shopping at an outlet mall. It was a beautiful mall with palm trees everywhere. Literally, Florida is filled with so many palm trees I had to stop my shopping to take pictures with the tree. I didn't care if we were in the parking lot or next to the mall bathroom. It's a palm tree- it was cool.
Come to think of it, I think all my tree pictures rubbed off on him because he too wanted to take pictures with trees. But this time it was some huge, and I'm talking HUGE, tree.
Eh what can I say? We are tree huggers- haha.
