Just a quick first entry in what will hopefully be an insightful and informative blog - a blow by blow account of our trials and tribulations as we travel across the globe!
So, we have just come back from our last proper English dinner for some time, to find our bed littered with things we were hoping would have packed themselves whilst we ate. The horror - apparently clothes don't have sentient thought!
Annie is currently struggling with a pretty tough dilemma - when you finally managed to close a backpack containing a years worth of clothing (who am I kidding, we all know it's the hair straighteners taking up the room) and lock it all up, do you then have the mental fortitude to open it up and attempt to cram that little bit extra in, or just leave it behind and hope for the best? A difficult choice at the best of time - made extra difficult by lack of sleep and grumpiness!
Anyhoo, as the time is quickly approaching the witching hour and we're travelling tomorrow, I should get to bed before turning inot a pumpkin - I don't think security let those through at Heathrow anymore! And the next time you hear from us, we will (hopefully) be safe and snug in Nairobi.
Peace out, and goodnight.
