Amazing weekend? methinks so!

It was AJ's last weekend so him and i went to Treasure Beach as it is THE best place in Jamaica! We've decided!
On Friday afternoon after his last day at work we went to YS Falls! It was stunning! Just a series of waterfalls and a guide takes you across each fall to have photos and to jump off a fall into the deep pool below...safe to day i pooed myself at this prospect but the same old phrase that pops into my head everytime i come to Jamaica announced "you'll regret it if you don't do it" so i did...aggghhh!! Then we climbed higher and there was a rope swing..the guide said hold it like this and jump straight...ok....so i held it took 10 minutes to gether my nerves..swung was so bloody scared forgot what the hell i was doing and landed arse first into the pool below and as i scrambled to the top i saw AJ in fits of giggles as i had created my own little tidal wave in a waterfall! Brilliant! But it was just amazing, it's like a jungle that surrounds the falls and then a fresh water pool at the bottom where you can just relax so we stayed there for a while it was soooo nice!!!
Then listening to the world cup on Jamaican radio on our way to Treasure Beach we arrived at Golden Sands and had pizza with jerk sauce on it as we are in Jamaica! And we just completely collapsed YS Falls was exhausting.
We woke up Saturday morning to thousands of yellow butterflies flying around our hotel and the beach it was unbelievable! We lay in a hammock all day reading and singing Etta James very very loudly!! Then we watched the sunset at the beach...i say sunset more like watching a storm arriving!! We exchanged our leaving letters i had a little cry of course! Then we went to the restaurant and had a SALAD!!! amazing!!! i have missed healthy food so much! It's just not accessible at all out here it's junk or fast food!
Sunday came and we sunbathed all day one of the best sun days i've seen in a long long time!!! Around 5pm we set off for Lover's Leap, where as the title suggests two Jamaican slave lovers jumped off this cliff as they would rather diw together then be seperated again so you can imagine the banter we got off our friends when we said we were going to see it!
I have never seen somewhere so beautiful in all my life!!! There's a lot of sea in the sea!!! All you can see is this savagely high cliff drop down to the coast the waves almost look like they're in slow motion we were SO high up! And the sea went on forever and all the way around you! it was just gorgeous! We just stood there in silence of just utter shock of how amazing it was...no photo can do it justice! but wow!!!!!
After an hour or so there we set off home for Mandeville and sat in KFC with chips and a zinger meal for AJ! Standard Sunday evening routine!
Aj leaves Thursday which means ALL my closest friends will have gone by then...no new people either as lots of people have cancelled due to the Kingston stuff even though that's calmed down a lot now! Hey-ho...off to Negril this weekend again to get my hair braided!! yeee haaa!

Wow honey! That sounds like an amazing weekend! And very romantic! You do realise I want all the gossip when you get home!?! AJ looks lovely and you make a gorgeous couple! I'm not sure Bournemouth beach is going to quite live up to the Jamaica standard when you get back! It sounds so beautiful where you are and you've definately "felt the fear and done it anyway!!" Good for you, you should be very proud of yourself and you are definately making memories of a lifetime! We miss you and are looking forward to seeing you soon!
