Had a really relaxed week this week!! On the Wednesday we went to Black River to a restaurant called 'Cloggy's' and all had jerk chicken or fish about 35 of us went so it was really nice. It was a little bar and hut on the beach and the sunset was unbelievable iv never seen anything like it before amazing colours!
There was some Jamaican children running around the beach that immediately clapped eyes on us whiteys and climbed all over me and AJ and an american volunteer called Marcus where we ended up playing jousting with a child on your back and kicking another child on another volunteers back! They loved it! Then we all had some dancing lessons from them! It was such a lovely evening the didnt want us to leave!!
I have enjoyed work a lot more this week, i'm starting to form a lot of bond with the kids and there's 3 little girls that wait for me at the school gates every morning and as soon  as they see me they run up to me and practically knock me over and shout "mummy!!!".
So teaching has been awesome this week. I adore teaching the little ones the big ones just fight and i can't do anything with them but the little ones are amaaaazing!
Friday i went to a inter-parish Netball Tournament. So all the schools in Manchester Parish competed including my school so i went as the member of staff i LOVED it! The standard of netball is amazing considering how young they are! All the parents and staff and kids all chant and do some cheerleading it was just an awesome atmosphere!!! We didn't win unfortunately but it was amazing fun!
After the tournament about 20 of us set off for a weekend in Montego Bay and we stayed in Verney's Guest House right on the top of the hill (not good walking up there once you're full of jerk chicken my godddd!!!) and you could sit on the roof and you could see for miles and miles!
that night we all went out to a club which was on a pier it was amazing! Lots of reggae dancing again of course!
On Saturday we were all shattered and lazed by the pool and had early nights, there isn't a lot to see in Mo Bay just one of those weekends just to relax and enjoy some peace! Sunday we went to a goooorgeous beach! very touristy but it's exactly what you picture when you think of Jamaica, white sands and clear seas it was just amazing! And i got straight into the sea! I've conquered the sea until some new volunteer who AJ had just explained to that i hate fish picked up a star fish and threw it at me and it landed on my leg and clung on i screamed my head off, Aj had to peal it off. I was shaking like a leaf and crying i think he realized it was a serious phobia i have of anything thta lives in the sea as well as fish...so that wasn't a great moment in my life i have to say! But i got over it after about an hour!!!! Then AJ and I went back into the sea and music was playing so we danced in the seas like a proper pair of tourists!!!
At 6pm we drove back and said goodbye to a few volunteers who were leaving Jamaica...a lot of goodbyes recently it's been really sad as i've lost my girly group and now only have AJ left from it. But hopefully lots fo new people!! PLEASE!! Going to Treasure Beach this weekend for AJ's last weekend :( so will write to you all next week! lots of love!! xx
