Our last full day in Cabo de Gata. It's still pretty blustery but the sun is shining & it's nice and warm.
We spent the best part of the day on one of San Jose's local beaches, Cale Barronal, which is a bit of a trek through some lovely sand dunes. Maybe because of the effort it takes to get there, this beach is the most naturist of all the beaches we've visited, pretty much everyone was starkers. It's a lovely beach and we climbed the large dune at one end to get a good view of it (not in the nude though like another pair did!)
We have really enjoyed our 6 days in Cabo de Gata, it's a very beautiful part of Spain with some spectacular beaches, coastline and inland desert views. We'll be sad to leave, but tomorrow we drive to Ronda, following the coast towards Marbella before heading north back into the mountains.
