After arrival I learnt that I am not allowed to take busses with luggage (LP again did a bad job), so I had to take a taxi and drove to a hostel. Unfortunately the reception was closed and guests told me that nobody has been around the whole day. Ok, took out the map and started walking into the direction of another place. On the way I was lucky that Maria picked me up and gave me a lift to the next place, she was right it would have been quiet far to walk, even for me.
Aruba is mainly known for beach resorts and casinos and I just spent a day there because this was my connecting destination to Central America.
Used the day to walk to the lighthouse at the very end of the island, admired the villas along the road, passed the astonishing dunes,  and finally came back to the white beaches in front of the big hotels late afternoon, nicely they are public and open for everyone.
The Coconut Inn where I stayed is just 15min inland from the beach but like a different world with children and chicken running around little colourful houses.
