Another gem of a town, small, quaint and with a distinctive Scottish feel to it, noticed straight away on entering the town, with each telegraph pole decorated with a different tartan, ongoing until you reach the town centre half a mile down the road. The town boasts the best pies in the area (as do most towns in this region) and the shops are not short of a kilt or two, scattered amongst the old antiques shop and the second hand book store, it really is a town out of a story book. One downer is, they do not sell haggis, despite the guidebook indicating otherwise!
