Another of many very similar beach towns on the east coast. The interesting draw for this one over others is the presence of a lagoon a little way back from the beachfront, which is surrounded by Tea Trees. The branches of these Tea Trees hang over the edges of the lagoon, and the leaves fall in to the water, turning the entire lake a golden brown coloured. Perfectly safe to swim in, and good for your skin, yet it is still a little unnatural to splash around in water so dark you cannot see your body below the surface. Still, we got some great pics!
