Today we went to the cultural village in Sarawak to learn about the different hill tribes. I expected it to be dull, but was quite entranced. How is it that the hill tribes in borneo used similar living arrangements (longhouses on stilts) and travel techniquest (long boats) to the native americans in the northeast? THe only thing i can think of is it was logical to the environment, as i'm sure these groups never spoke. We had an excellent time, then walked along the resort beach.
