After surfing the really expensive internet, we went on to have some really expensive small beers at an local Irish pub. (of course, every town/city/village has one, where ever you go in the world) After that we could only laugh, at least we got parking for free. We drove back to the campground, and got ready for the beach again. The waves had picked up a little bit, which was awesome (for Ian, I thought it was nice). While I was working on my afternoon tan, Ian was catching some nice waves. We went back that night and had some really good pasta dinner, as every night since Italy. We got up the next morning and packed up our tent and belongings, and travelled on to Bordeaux. We wanted to go wine tasting, but since all the signs are in french and nobody seems to speak anything else then french in France, we ended up at the tourist office for wine, where we tasted one wine, in a less interesting setting, and got an map of open vineries. The ones that the lady pointed out where all open in the afternoon, and according to her nothing was open before noon, so we went to a store and stocked up on good wines instead. Our destination was Paris, so we did not have time to hang around. The drive to Paris was long, but still alright. Until we got into the area around Paris city. Oh wow, talk about bad signs and really bad drivers. More about Paris in the next entry!!! Laters!
