I really haven't seen Lisa since we finished college two years ago. She was a very hard worker who kept her head down and got it all done. Very much unlike myself.
She picks me up on the Sunday evening, apologizes, feeds me, gives me a bed, apologizes a little more, gets the neighbours in for a session, pops champagne, makes me breakfast and packed lunch.
After all of that she picks me up from the road after I've had the easiest day walking from Watergrasshill to Kilworth over Fermoy, and makes sure I'm fed again. And as if that weren't enough she cooks me another breakfast in the morning and packs me another lunch before walking me out of Kilworth.
The kindness is just overwhelming.
When I open my lunch-box when I sit down for my lunch in Fermoy looking out over the weir I find a note: 'One out of ten, 20!!! You wonder woman you.'
If she weren't married to Philip I'd marry her myself.
I feel so privileged to spend that time with her, and so grateful for the time that we spend. Sometimes it's just like that. You don't see some one for a while and then they're there and they're just wonderful.
It's because of the Lisa's in this world crazy people like me get to do their mad trips.
Thank you.

Beste Anja,
Groetjes, Gerry
