The sides of the hill below Prague Castle wre covered with productve gardens which are slowly being restored and opened to the tourist public. Fürstenberg Gardens is ten narrow terraces mixing fruit trees and roses with buildings built into the hillside and terraces over the roofs.

I keep seeing medlars growing in Europe and getting more enthusiastic about growing them, such beautiful trees!!
