We made it onto the ship with no mishaps. We were greeted with glasses of champagne. Ms. Lach kept uttering profanities of amazement as we walked through the ship. It really is quite lovely. Because our cabins weren't ready,we made a beeline for the Observation Lounge and watched it rain while the waiter brought us whatever we wanted. We spent an hour or so in the bar and then Ken and Andrea took the Susan's on a tour of the ship. We stopped at the coffee bar for coffees, iced mochas, frappes and cookies and they announced our suites were ready. We headed for our suites. Once again Ms Lach was astounded. Ken and Andrea love their aft suite with the large veranda and the Susan's have a closet bigger than our cabins on previous Celebrity cruises we have been on.
Luggage all arrived in the suites and we unpacked and waited for our lifeboat drill. It does seem that they take these more seriously than they used to. We all successfully passed and were allowed to continue on the cruise.

We met our stewardesses and butlers. Ms. Lach is flirting with her butler,Jean from Mauritius and has challenged him to make her life wonderful. We will let you know how this works out.

It was raining, so we went to sail away in the Observation lounge. There is a beautiful archipelago stretching from Stockholm to Helsinki. Ms. Rhode was the photographer of the evening and I would upload some pictures she took with her expensive new camera, but we are experiencing technical difficulties. Stay tuned.
We then went on to dinner, which was wonderful. After dinner, Ken went to hear the Swinging Sixties show in the lounge and Andrea and the Susan's went to the casino. Andrea was the big winner of the night and is up $10.
