Things are going smoothly now. I got off at Rennes and learned 3 things:
1.) The French are VERY helpful. People are going out of their way to help me and give me directions and stuff. They are making my life so much easier.
2.) I will pay 2,20 euros for an Orangina, but I will NOT pay 0,40 euro to use the WC. That’s just how it is.
3.) The French sandwich is an enigma. It is thin consisting of a sliver-like slice of ham and maybe some lettuce if you’re lucky on a not-so-soft baguette. This sounds like the recipe for a healthy snack, but alas! The baguette is slathered with butter on the inside making it a fattening, yet oh so delicious option for the busy frenchie on the go.
So now I’m basically killing the last two hours until I meet up with ma famille! Hopefully all goes well and I find them immediately. There will probably be more to come on that later.
Battery is DEAD. I will resume contact with the world as soon as I figure out how to. And pictures later, too.
