Mount Shasta, North Californian

After 2 hours waiting to get our hired car and we stored away our backpack off we drove. Next plan to visit Mount Shasta. An impressive Mountain to it's full glory. It took us good 4 hours to get there and it was rewarded with the first glance when it appears. ;;
Here we stayed 2 days and climbed up the Mt Shasta. Well, maybe more walking and hiking then climbing. The easy accessible path.

We also went to the the Barny falls which I loved even though the water was so icy that I was not dare enough to jump into it to have a swim.

But bravely enough a group of Mexican arrived at that spot and a guy without a glimpse of his eyes dived into it and swum . The girlfriend dare enough to try it herself turned around after the water covered her up to the hips. Nothing for warmhearted ;)

Anyway it was a nice walk around with a slightly ascending slope but nothing spectacular. The air was clear of the smell of conifer trees. Here you can really breath in have something out of it. If it would have been possible to pack it into a bag I would have done it but so I just enjoyed the time we spent there
