Big city and shopping

Osaka was only 15 mins from Kyoto so I decided to spend a night there. It was however pretty bleak in comparison to Kyoto and Tokyo. It is a big city with about 18 million people. I strolled around here for an afternoon looking at shops. There are endless of skyskrapers, shops and restaurants. Osaka is an important financial center so I felt that the city lacked the charm of Kyoto and the tourist appeal of Tokyo, but I'm still glad I went and checked it out.
