I'm back in London and it's about the end of my trip.  Summing it up, it's been such a blast!  I wish that I could fully detail it, but it'll have to wait until I'm at home (especially since internet costs money when you're away!).  Same with the pics.  Looking back at the past around 2 1/2 weeks, the time has gone by so quickly.  My days have definitely been packed with much to see and do and eat.  :0)  I now have friends when I was quite worried if I'd ever make any.

Short (or not so short, depending on your take) breakdown:
-Travelling with 51 people in a coach and getting to know quite a bit of them
-Having an awesome tour manager and driver-Ollie and Hans (the Hansinator!)-and knowing that I was in good hands/prepped in every city that I was in
-Getting mossie (mosquito) bites.  :(  Quite sad, actually.
-Drinking champagne by the Eiffel Tower as it was lit up in the night
-Almost getting kicked off of the Tower (due to tix reasons)
-Going to mass at Notre Dame and not knowing what time it was going to be (coincidence?  I think not!)
-Parasailing in the French Riviera and feeling like I was going to drown there.. (but it was such an awesome view from the sky!) I think it's one of the most beautiful places in the world.. I just don't like walking on their rocks!  I'm saddened that there's no sand.
-Getting scared that this massive cloud of flies were following me in Cannes.. Very scary.  The best part was just walking on the beach there.
-Trying to switch from French to Italian.  (The linguistic mayhem!)
-Being sick for most of Italy (and having the Contiki cough for the rest of the trip).
-Walking around Florence at night for what felt like forever, while being sick and my feet hurting like crazy.
-Taking the time to people watch and enjoy the scenery while having a cappuchino in Florence.. and finding out during the walking tour that the very place I stopped for a morning break was the very same place that the Mona  Lisa was painted.
-Getting lost in Rome, telling myself not to cry because I would just get dehydrated.  :P  In the end, I ended up going to adoration and mass in St. Peter's Basillica.  (Nice! Coincidence?  I highly doubt it.. I think God has been doing some nifty planning while I've been here.)
-Surviving hurricane-like wather in Vence.  (Rain! Hail the size of quarters! People falling in the water!  Getting completely and utterly drenched!)  It was awesome to see the sky open up beautifully for the gondola ride, though.
-Wine tasting in Germany and France.
-Canal boat pedaling in Amsterdam in the morning with friends.  Beautiful way to see the city.
-Biking in Edam (that's in Holland) when I can't even bike.  You have to see the pics of my 3-wheeler!
-Eating to my heart's (or stomach's) content.
-Being safe on this trip.
-Taking the time to put things/life in perspective.
-Fantastic views of nature.  (I still can't believe that God created that and that and that...)

This trip turned out to better than I expected it to be.  I did quite well travelling by myself and enjoyed it immensely.  I think that everyone has to travel by themself at some point in their life.  You learn so much when it's just you.. and at the same time, you're not even alone.  I was surrounded all the time with people, and yet when I wanted alone time by myself, it was great.

Now it's home tomorrow!  Praying that the rain will stop so I can have a dry time going to the airport tomorrow.

Tonight though, one last hurrah with the friends.  :0)
