When I was in South Africa in 2004 I visited Knysna where I did some conservation work on the Knysna seahorse, which was endangered because the lake was being dredged. It was strange to return, even though we were only there for the morning. I didn't see any seahorses. From Knysna we headed to a wolf sanctuary, where we saw wolves, hyenas and jackals, and I even got to play with some very cute wolves that were born in captivity.
