Rachel and I decided to take our lives into our own hands and crossed over to Zambia two days running. There we took part in the 'Adrenaline day' where we did crazy things such as abseiling, ziplining, rap-jumping (abseiling forwards - very scary) and a gorge swing. It was loads of fun but I don't think I have ever been as scared as when I did the rap-jump and the gorge swing. The swing was more fun than a bungee jump though. I even did it twice, once alone and once in tandem with Rachel. The following day we went microlighting over the falls which is one of the most amazing things I have ever done. The views were spectacular and I saw crocodiles, elephants and giraffes below. The falls are huge and you could really see the scale of them from above, and the fact that they are surrounded by empty land. There is a huge cloud of mist above them and when we flew through it the microlight wobbled a lot, which made me nervous. It was still amazing though and I wish I could have been up there longer. Microlights have no sides so I felt like I could fall out at any moment (although there was a seatbelt). Back on the ground, I went to see the falls from the Zambian side which gave a different view and again I took loads of photos. I also saw loads of baboons and a strange looking deer. The last thing we did in Zambia was watch crazy people jump off Victoria Falls bridge. Having bungeed in Australia I had no desire to do another one, but it was fun watching them.
