Where I stayed
Suda's Guesthouse
As you can tell by the total of 0 photos we took in Chumphon the place really ain't all that!
We got the train down the coast from Hua Hin & booked 1 night at Suda's Guest House. (She was an absolute diamond. Anyone that can recommend good food & drink places ranks highly to us! Ha ha!)
Passed the day on the internet (which shows how bored we really were!) & Then headed out on the night time to have a look at the night market. The night markets contain loads of cheap food stalls with locals cooking dishes for you freshly there & then. There is a right selection, bbq meat, sweetcorn, noodles, southern fried chicken...it was like heaven!
Andy had some KFC style chicken & bbq beef & Kerry had a bbq sweetcorn on cob & it came to about 70 baht. (Roughly about a pound)
Just the thing we need with a budget over our heads!
Had quite an early night as we had to be up bright & early at 5am the next morning ready to catch our "express" boat to Koh Tao. (Express being used lightly as it took nearly 3 hours to get there in the end!)
We weren't impressed & if you need further proof just check out Andy's face when we arrived in the Koh Tao entry!!
