Staying in the most lovely family guest house right in the middle of a UNESCO world heritage site (Galle Fort). An amazing cricket ground right outside the fort. would have loved to have seen a game.

Drove down from Kandy on Independence day through the country and saw all the flags and banners of all the villagers celebrating. No trouble at all. very releived!

Unawatuna beach, for the day was superb. One of the worlds top 10! Got sunburn, but worth it!

Bought a Sri Lankan Traditional style Mask! Will show when I get back! Hope it survives the trup!
