Had Ramps – wild onion for tea last night – excellent. Good nights sleep. Woke up to low cloud etc. Climbed Wesser Bald and saw old fire tower that had been burnt out. Steep track down to Wesser, stocked up with more food – shop seems to have everything and are very friendly. Good solid grunt from Wesser to Sassafras Shelter, sweating like a pig all the way – felt very good. Spent another night with Aussie.
