The past few days will be remembered as the best in S.e Asia. Given the i still have two left i can safly assume that a 100bht room above a cafe in Krappy Krabi and a night on a bus to Singapore, will not disrupt the chart one bit! I left you with the news that Mel was returning to Phi Phi, well she did and i quit the job at Jordans and we had a great few days (if a little short) chilling at Karma bar beach and eating in esturants that i have walked past for the last month and finally had the time to eat in. The one thing about Phi Phi and the extra cost they seem to put on everything, i.e. internet is double that on the mainland, the food remains the best value. We ate at a great place last night and had the best Thai green curry for under 2 quid each! Mel is returning to the resturant tomorrow to do a Thai cooking course i think and it was a good choice! The place is called Spices if anyone goes! Also Fatty's does the best Mussles on the Island.

I had a sad farewell night last night walking around the bars and meeting all the people i have made friends with in the last month. There were so many and i managed a photo with each one. The thai people too i have met and become friends with were so sad to say good bye (apart from the Thai staff at the Irish Bar, who while the American boss Brian is away, decided to hate us all and charge us extra for everything ??? )we think it was a jealousy thing as we were probably getting paid the same as them and it was a living for them! still!

I was glad to leave the job but so sad to leave the Island and it will be first on my list when i return to Thailand, as it should be on yours!
Anyway on leaving i got news that Ruth would be in Krabi today and i could reunite her with her camera she left in the bar! I got of the boat 1 minute before she managed to cross the road to meet the boat and we passed eachother within feet! I went to a internet cafe saw she had written to say where she was and with 20minutes to spare before her bus left for Bangkok i found her sitting at a table by the road and we caught up on all the gossip and stories! Cool to see her again but another sad goodbye! we have a plan to tour Ireland soon though (with a Wellie boot as a companion, but that's another story.
So the next entry will be from India i hope so wish me luck in the apparent 40+ heat
