Taking a day trip to the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam was probably one of the highlights of our whole trip. It was a three hour drive there and same again back so yet another long day of travelling to add to the last few crazy weeks. We arrived at the Grand Canyon west rim and had a bbq lunch looking over the canyon. Photographs could never really do this place justice, its incredible! I can only imagine how it would look at sunset which the changing colours but even at midday as the sun was beating down and the winds swept through the ridges, it was beautiful. We got the chance to do something quite incredible here....they have built a glass ledge out over the west rim called the Sky Walk. It is quite the experience to be walking on glass looking down miles below. There were grown men terrified on the thing as well as young kids tearing about on it. It was most daunting to sit down on it to get our photo taken.
The Grand Canyon was an incredible place to visit and im sure the photos from it will hang on our wall as a reminder of
