"Clearly, you've never been to Singapore."  Well, Captain Jack Sparrow can't say that to us any more.  Here we are!   Of course, we're holed up in the airport lounge for the next 12 hours.  Yep, have to wait for the next and final leg of the journey; the flight from Singapore to Manado, in Sulawesi, Indonesia.  The flight went great, however it was definitely the bumpiest either of us has ever been on.  All of the in-flight amenities did help, of course!  ;-)

The Premier Lounge here at the Singapore Airport is really first-class.  Showers, food, drinks, couches, napping beds, etc., all help pass the time and get you over the fact that it just took about 23 hours in the air to get here!  Everyone is really excited though, and having a great time.  Time to get a little nap in before that final 3 hour and 40 minute flight to Manado.  Actually, walking around the airport terminal was way more interesting than sleep.  It's like a shopping mall, and you would never even know you're so far from home just from looking at things.

The terminal has a beautiful koi pond and orchid garden that are amazing.

The flowers are incredibly fresh and meticulously tended to daily, if not hourly.   We saw crews working on cleaning, trimming, etc. all over the airport that we would never see back home.  Everything was spotless.

Even the squatting pans.

I know... what in the heck is a squatting pan, you ask?  Here you go:

Finally, it's takeoff time!  On to Manado, to finish the last of our flight time.
