Snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef

The absolute must-do reason for visiting Cairns is to take a trip out to the Great Barrier Reef.
We visited the outer reef on Reef Magic, a floating pontoon, which enabled us to snorkel, take a glass bottomed boat and semi-submersible tour.
Not surprisingly the coral and marine were spectacular and unbelievably close to the pontoon. In particular, a Maori Wrasse (called Wally) wouldn't leave the snorkellers alone. An absolutely fantastic day.
