Due to difficulty finding internet, I am logging in late.
To much surprise, I imgained the flight into Russia will be difficult due to the recent swine flu breakout, it turn out to be much smoother than I thought. My flight arrived in Moscow without any delay, the stewardess were wonderful, the Russian customs was as smooth as I can imagine and even the Home stay lady showed up on time. So I was able to make it to my destination , the home of Anna's mom, without much difficulty. I met Anna's mom and had a brief chat in Russian, ( she talked too fast, I was just nodding and saying "da"or yes the whole time). There was another student Miao from Taiwan who is studying here. Miao took me around the area to the grocery store and metro station. She also mentioned that Moscow is quite unsafe better avoid ging out at night. We had a nice chat over some take out dinner at home and call it the night.
