This mornig we slept in late from the exhausting drive yesterday. We decided to take the northern loop road down to Hawaii Volcanic National Park. Due to the distance, we didn't get there til 2pm. Today we did 2 ranger guided tours first about invading plants of Hawaii then a seoncd talk about island geology, bother very itneresting. We then watched a movie about the national park. Then we visited a lava tube and drove all the way to the ocean and saw this beautiful sea arch where we took a bunch of photos.
For the evening, we waited out again for the magical glow of the volcanic crater, luckly the cloud cleared and view was great. We took a bunch of night photographs before we head on back. For dinner, I stopped by the local FTA market and bought 3 trays of fresh sushi and marlin poke. That was sooo good.
The drive back was still exhausting but not as bad as the night prior.
