Today i have decided to head to Kranji War Memorial found in the north of the island to pay my respects to the fallen men and women of the Second World War.

This memorial to the fallen and the surrounding grounds are kept immaculate by a team of groundsman. There are a few other people here walking around like myself, but no sound can be heard thereby enchaning the reason why we are here.

I managed to find some names amongst the fallen belonging to my local army regiment: The Royal Northumberland Fusiliers
