Where I stayed
After a late sleep-in after last night, we panicked that we wouldn't be able to return the rental car in time. The host of the B & B graciously provided a huge breakfast before we threw everything into the car, wondering how we would arrive in Dublin by 1.30pm with a 2.5 hour drive ahead of us.
For some reason, we decided to call the rental car company to ask if we could return the car later and were surprised that the car wasn't actually due back until tomorrow. So therefore our big panic drive slowed down to a steady sightseeing day after all.
After yesterday's torrent of rain at Blarney, the only thing we spent time seeing today was the Rock of Cashel. We had to drive to the county of Tipperary to see it - boy it was a long way! Sorry, I hadn't actually heard of it (am I the only one?) but apparently it has a lot of cultural significance.
When we arrived in Dublin, we did all the fun stuff - returned the car, had dinner, did clothes washing. Hey I know this is boring, but I had to fill in the page somehow :-)
