Fine day 23 degrees.
We were awoken by the captain at 7am advising we had arrived in Tauranga.
Stayed in bed for awhile uploading photos and video to Facebook and the blog.
We finally got ready and went to cafe promenade for breakfast.
We went ashore just after 9am and had a walk around the town. There were so many people here, unlike the last time we were here. The caravan park was full and there was teenagers everywhere, it looked just like schoolies. Apparently there was 50 thousand people crammed on their beach the night before for New Years celebrations. I think they all must have been in town today.
It is a small pretty seaside town, that reminds me a lot of Caloundra.
We walk around the town for a couple of hours and then return to the ship for lunch.
Afternoon is spent relaxing by the pool and we also went to trivia in the pig & whistle pub.
We wander around the ship, as it is enjoyable just watching other people and they walk around.
Some people should not wear the clothes they have on.
It is soon time for dinner so we go and get ready and head off to the restaurant.
Dinner is nice once again.
After dinner we head to the guess handbag sale in the promenade. Once again very disappointing. Very limited selection and more expensive than we would pay at home.
We then head to the photo shop to look at our photos so far. We will probably get a couple this time as there is a couple of nice ones.
After this we head to bed for an early night after our busy night last night
