Fine day 20 degrees.
Nice sleep in today as we do not arrive in Picton until 2pm.
I stayed in bed, updating the blog and woke Darelle and Sarah up just after 9.
Love this dark room.
Breakfast in the buffet this morning as we missed the closing time for the restaurant.
Had a walk through the shops to see if there was any duty free items Sarah could purchase before her flight tomorrow. She bought a one litre bottle of Smirnoff vodka for $19.99
We then went and had lunch in the restaurant and prepared for our three hour tour around Picton. The Picton tour was very good as we went to the botanical gardens in Blenheim, absolutely beautiful. The tour then took us to the vines, a tourist spot, with shops, wine and fudge tasting. We then toured around all of the mountains surrounding Picton. Much nicer area than Milford Sound and much larger. The bay is larger than any I have ever seen.
We return to the ship just before 7pm but are too late for dinner in the restaurant so head to the cafe promenade for some pizza.
We then headed off into Cleopatra's needle for karaoke, some good, some bad.
After this we have the 70s night in the promenade.
Very good night, but boy does the promenade get busy?
Unfortunately I didn't take my camera to this, so didn't get any photos of the crazy costumes and dancing.
By this time it is just before midnight, so time for bed once again after another good day
