We are currently preparing for our trip--tying up loose ends, packing up our goods (hope everything will fit in the backpacks!), cleaning up and winterizing the house, all the while dreaming of warm weather, langustinos, papas rellenas, and all the foods we've yet to encounter.
Jacque is still working, until Jan 13, then we will go to Montana to see her family and soothe her mother's fears of muggings and whatnot.
Our plane leaves Boise on February 3 for Panama City. From there, we plan to head north and hit every country along the way until the money thins out. With luck, we'll be in Southern California with Jacque's brother J.W. sometime this summer.
