My day of finally sitting around the pool all day had now arrived, however we decided to go for a quick breako from the 7 – 11 which actually meant Erica could go shopping. Erica edit:  Ha ha the shops were en route.  How she had missed Thai shopping and markets. Well we only got back at about 1:30pm so I got the rest of the day reading at the pool. It is clear that Erica and I are not meant to go clothes shopping together. She likes to feel every item in the shop before concluding there is nothing in the shop she likes. I know what I'm looking for, get the cheapest one and negotiate on that. Anyway enough said I wasn’t too popular but Erica did get a rather stunning new bikini (it didn’t help my plight when I asked in one shop if they did bikinis for the 'bigger boobies', the shop only had rather small bikinis for well local figures). Erica stormed out mortified as I'd said it to an Indian man, and didn’t want to talk for a while after that. Oh well!

The rest of the day consisted of reading, swimming, and sunbathing. Oddly though I don’t seem to be getting any less tired I’m still feeling knackered but then again I don’t think I’m eating enough. That evening we Skyped Vic from an Italian restaurant but her microphone was off so we just waved around a bottle of Chang. Thailand is just so expensive now though. A different place to when we came a few years ago. Yes we negotiated discounts on beer and food as a percentage off menu price but it is still 2.50 - 3 for a beer and I had a pizza which was half price from the menu but still cost 4. Mind you it did have a bulb of garlic on the Pizza.  Is that value?  We had a lovely night anyway and some delicious food.
